Red Bull brings a competitive adventure in the Pacific coast of San Lucas, Puntarenas. 140 athletes run 6 miles (10km) until they reach the beach. They have to kayak from the beach for 4 miles (6km) in open water to get to Puntarenas, where they will finish the race.

This is our first Escape San Lucas, and we are honored to provide the brand identity and concept for this event. Escape San Lucas takes place on San Lucas Island in Costa Rica. The island used to be the roughest jail in the country, but Costa Rica declared it a national wildlife preserve in 2008. We used the island’s history in the branding and created elements with an old and rustic feeling that matched the environment.
